If we have a doomsday scenario where Harris wins, and the states/House pull some some crap to to overthrow the results, we'd have the biggest coup in the history of the world and full-blown treason. It would lead to a legitimate shooting war with troops in the streets and national guards federalized. Those troops would be controlled by Biden and a Pentagon loyal to the country, not a cult leader.
I could see a few want to try it, but in my heart I believe there are people left to understand that.
Sure the constitution says if no one gets an electoral majority, the House chooses. It doesn't say an electoral majority you like.

The final New York Times/Siena poll, rated No. 1 in accuracy by 538, has Harris leading in all swing states with the exception of Arizona and by a fraction of a point in Michigan. Some of those leads are precarious but that would include both convincing victories in North Carolina and Wisconsin, plus narrower wins in Georgia and Nevada.

Harris and Trump Battle to the Wire in Swing States, Times/Siena Polls Find

That would be a way for Harris to win the election without Pennsylvania and Michigan. I think she'll take 6 of 7.

Concerning Georgia, based on my completely amateurish spreadsheet, if just 1 out of every 100 white females changes their 2024 vote from Trump to Harris, she would have a lead heading into Tuesday's Election Day. That's how close the numbers appear to be right now.

In 2020, 1 out of every 3 Georgia voter was a white woman, and 4 million votes are already banked. If the Des Moines Register poll is right -- that older white women are trending to Harris in large numbers -- we'll see the effects immediately as the state counts the in person ballots first. Again, Georgia is not Iowa. But with the election as tight as it is, just a minor difference from 2020 could have huge consequences.

FiveThirtyEight has a story detailing how quickly to expect results from each state.

When Will We Know 2024 Election Results?

TLDR: Georgia and North Carolina should go pretty fast while Arizona and Michigan are going to be a slog. And fittingly enough, Pennsylvania’s projected speed is a toss-up.

Maybe but she is the engine behind this second movement to eradicate Trump, this time for good.

So let’s say Harris wins; the GOP has a tantrum; several GOP states refuse to certify and they try to throw the election to the House.
Let’s say West Virginia, Mississippi and South Carolina refuse to certify.

Let’s also say that the Dems regain House control and we now have Speaker Jeffries.

Is there anything in the Constitution that would prevent Speaker Jeffries and the House Dem majority from passing a procedural rule that says that any state that refuses to certify their vote will also forfeit their delegation’s vote for president? Could the Dems refuse to allow West Virginia’s, South Carolina’s and Mississippi’s vote?

If I understand what you're saying, the red states that refuse to certify their own elections are just cutting their own throats. The most likely states to do that would be states under full GOP control (gov / legislature / court) that flip blue. Like Texas, should it flip.

A few hundred MAGGATS getting mowed down in the streets is probably what this society needs. They'll run like scalded dogs. All the cosplay tough guys will go hide under the bed.
