Harris is doing well in Hamilton County (Carmel), the mostly very well-off northern suburbs of Indy. Again, tea-leave stuff that hopefully bodes well for other areas.

I’ll go out on a limb and give Drumpf Idaho’s four EVs, too.

Well, he has a bunch of hiding places in Europe if things go south here. (Your PBS dollars at work.)

The pickleball playoffs may be a little more intense this time around.

This is interesting to me. I grew up in Boone County and remain friends with a significant number of my classmates from my then-small high school. About 80 percent of us went to college and most of the other 20 percent either did some college or trade school.

The men I grew up with are probably 70/30 Trump supporters, with the ones who stayed there being much more MAGA.

The women are probably closer to 60/40 Republican. I have noticed this cycle that more of the women I grew up with have been vocal about women's rights than previous years - including a couple openly supporting Kamala and/or Democrats in general who have been GOP supporters in the past. I've had a quiet sense that more of those ladies than normal are voting for Harris. These are largely educated middle class women in suburbia.

I've tried not to read too much into it, but it's been one of those little things I've been hanging my hope on.

NO WAY! I am the man! My spreadsheet rules.

At some point, I'll compare 2024 county percentages against 2020 for those which have already reported. That might give us some feel for where the turnout improved.
