I called this one when the exit polls showed that white voters were an increased percentage of the electorate than in 2020. This is a racist, sexist country (most countries are). Any lip service to the contrary is a damn lie.

Georgia and North Carolina are going to be close. Georgia is down to 3% gap, NC down to 2.5% as of 10:40 per the NYT's data.

NC has 15% or so of votes left to count, mostly in research triangle, Charlotte, and Greensboro. Georgia has 9% of its vote left to count, mostly in the Atlanta, Augusta, and Savannah areas.

You'd probably rather be the Trump campaign, but that's why nothing has been called.

My Australian visa is valid until February and is renewable. But I have a grandchild on the way, so I’m going nowhere.

Maybe the No Va counties were a harbinger. His wins have been secure. She’s sweating out Virginia.

Not trying to be curt, but seriously though what is up with women in this country? Have to look at final numbers but they voted Biden over Trump by 15 percent and by about 5 percent overall in total votes.

Gap is bigger than the Libertarian vote. And how many of those people would have voted for Moreno anyway?

He can win the (deep breath) popular vote.

The NYT Needle had Trump winning past midnight in 2020. It had Clinton winning until late.

The Needle is not a great barometer. It's theater.

We’re so fucked if this holds. He’ll not only have no guardrails like he did in his first term, but he will go all grievance, and his supporters are going to be insufferable, including those in position to make policy.

Well, Trump is going to probably win Georgia and North Carolina because the rurals overperformed the urbans. And if that's the case, not looking good to keep him from taking Pennsylvania and closing it out. The numbers look way much more like 2016 than 2020.

The 150 little Republican counties in Georgia did just a bit better to offset the Fulton-DeKalb-Gwinnett turnout, particularly all the rednecky counties north of Atlanta. Same thing with Raleigh-Durham-Charlotte. Trump is doing better than expected even though he's losing in the big cities.

The GOP is plus-2 everywhere instead of minus-3. Democrats are going to need a Hail Mary and they're running out of potential ballots.

What was the percentage, though? I don’t really remember it being so tilted

Stuff like this is what I truly don't understand. I just don't get it.
