I’m sorry I was born straight and with a penis. How do suggest I set aside that “privilege?”

GTFO with that shit. Are you that tone deaf?

In the even remotely foreseeable future, the Democrats are not going to nominate:

    1) A woman
    2) A gay guy
    3) A Jew
    4) Anybody over 60.

No, no, no. It's gonna be nothing but whitebread white guys until maybe 2050 or so.

Anyway, for a few decades, anybody running on the Democratic Party ticket will have to be approved by Trump or his anointed successor.

They'll probably use the same careful selection process Fox News uses for their talk shows to select their token Democrat/designated punching bags -- a strawman stooge.

Except you will step foot again in their establishment. I venture you can't avoid local stores that sell what you need "today", you can't or won't delete social media that perpetuates his hatred. Don't "pause" or "suspend" facebook, delete it. I'm a democrat that will also feel effects of SSN loss, Medicare loss, or calamity loss. It's not just "their" pain.

I’m 48. I don’t believe another Democrat will be elected president in my lifetime.

Obama already had substantial buzz due to his 2004 DNC speech. Halperin not even mentioning him is just further evidence that he was out of touch.

They will because at some point there will be the mishaps and misteps where the Were you better off four years ago will lead to change.

And because at some point, enough people go -- well that side's been in charge too long

Putin has been president of Russia since 1999. Who's gonna make Trump, or his anointed successor, leave?

The Grim Reaper … or in Drumpf’s case, Ronald McDonald.

But yeah, then we get Vance and other gung ho Project 2025 thugs.

I'm 66 and thought, until 2016, the pendulum swings, that's what happens. Back and forth. I've been naive, and am now too old to instigate that change. One hope, the 8 year old grandson who is so into politics, sarcastically said "Thanks, Dad" upon hearing the results.

I’m confused. I’ve been told the media is uniformly libruhl.

Don't overthink everything. Possibly the simplest reason Trump got elected is this post from today: "It's a popularity contest. The Republicans don't have to deliver."

Harris was never as popular as Donald, at least not to enough Americans and that was that.
