But when it started it didn't take 6.2% of one's income. You take that much out of a paycheck for 40-45 years, people want some kind of return

Yes but Elon has already explained that we peons will just have to suck it up with some economic pain, so in case of some catastrophic rise in the national debt, they'll just cut Social Security off cold. A luxury we can't afford any more. People who are responsible, who made the right choices, and the right capital investments, should be fine. We'll be better off in the long run.

Texas hasn't yet passed vouchers, but it's getting closer. Gonna be a tight vote after the results of this legislative election. State GOP House Speaker Dade Phelan is dead-set against it and survived a primary challenge, so we'll see.

 

Is that universal vouchers like what they tried in Arizona? Just watch all the wealthy families gobble them up and bankrupt the system.

 

I have no idea. The final form hasn't taken shape yet. The next session won't start until January.
