Seriously, I’d buy the hell out of a “Carter/Ghost of Mondale 2028” t-shirt.

 

It would be an improvement over the last two.

 

A Texas MAGA Republican judge making a political decision.

 

He will order Hochul to pardon him on the state charges, or face federal troops rolling into Albany.

 

If you don’t think he would be absolutely savaged for his mental health background I don’t know what to tell you. Alma’s nastiness is the mild version.

 

It’s fine.

This country went for Obama because people were tired of establishment politicians and he was young and fresh. They went from Trump because the alternative was a legacy politician who ran out the guy considered to be an alternative. Biden was a typical politician but could talk to working class people in their language and had the background to back it up. Trump just won again on that “outsider” appeal despite being an insider at the point. People like that he isn’t a typical politician.

I see a lot of people saying “I’m a conservative but I like a lot of what this guy says.” You need those people if you want to win elections.

 

Other than the border thing, I could see Trump get really bored in his second term.

 

Being a lame duck means we'll see him hanging out for weeks upon weeks down in Florida.

 

I can’t help but recall all the regulars on this thread who argued with me when I correctly predicted Trump would never spend a minute in jail.
Those same folks refuse to admit the country is completely broken.
