I couldn't give a damn who he picks at this point. It's a clown show, woo-hoo-hoo.

I'm just hoping we get to watch the Republican Parrty either wake up or tear itself to shreds.

No, not everyone knows what's bad. More than half our country doesn't know what's bad, apparently. In fact, more than half our country claims to be in favor of and excited about all this. And they all still watch Fox News! It hasn't been turned off just because the election's now over.

Slacker is right. There's going to be chaos, and how anyone could be OK with this crap is inconceivable. High principles noble causes are being offended and upended, in favor of dangerous, unacceptable ones. It's sickening.

 

This is a lengthy article, from Slate, and one of the saddest and most depressing I've read lately. And it has nothing to do with any Cabinet nominations.

The most telling, truest lines: Lawlessness appears to be an agreed-upon outcome, a literal get-out-of-jail-free card, for whichever entity evinces the most contempt for the law.

and

But as we slog ever nearer to this vanishing point at which no consequences exist, we should be perfectly sober about which victories Trump seized for himself, and which were simply gifted to him.

It's a good read, and worth the time.
