The people who are going to be brought to heel by a scathing op-ed … won’t be.

The people who are going to be embarrassed and shamed into changing their ways … won’t be.

The high-minded rhetoric we thought set the tone for the nation and its leaders is a security blanket we are better off locking up in a steamer trunk in the attic and then putting out of our thoughts. None of the institutions or rules we were told everything rested upon are coming to save us. It is time to put away childish things.

Per the NYT, Elon has been staying on the MAL campus in a cottage-villa-hut known as Banyan.

He kinda looks like Kenny Bania from Seinfeld, so that seems fitting. He's still waiting for the meal, since soup's not a meal.

The cottage where he has been staying, named Banyan, is several hundred feet away from the main house, according to a person who knows the property.
