Well, Rupert's Circus, SPC and MAGA struggle with the truth, so ...

Don't you just love when SPC attacks someone and underlines the attack with a heaping dollop of cruelty - and that's just great - then Joe speaks the truth in a much more understated fashion, only to watch Rupert's Circus melt down?

 

That would be the deal-killer for Team MAGA. Theyd demand Canada simply be forcibly assimilated into the marvelously smooth U.S. system.

Of course if the U.S. ACA system was beefed up a bit to a Medicare for All format, they wouldn't be that far apart, but the MAGA hardliners would insist the Canadian system be stripped down instead.

Team MAGA isn't interested in negotiations or halfway measures. Their idea of "the art of the deal" is "you'll get nothing and like it."

 

Also known as "political terrorists."

 

Things I'd want from Canada, Vancouver, their National Anthem, their health care system, their sense of humor, their head of state (most of the Great Canadians already have dual citizenship or are married to US citizens - present company excepted of course). Their beer isn't that great, but their whiskey is.

Not saying the beer isn't good, but it isn't better than the stuff from my neck of the woods. First time I went to BC, I was blown away. The mountains were bigger, the rivers wider and faster and the people? WAAAAY Cooler.

 

The official beer of the SJ.com Toronto outing (so the others told me ... the soda up there was just as good as it is closer to home).

 

I for one look forward to the first debate between the rednecks and Quebecois.

 

Lots of incel Trump voters will have to answer questions about their (imaginary) Canadian girlfriends.
