I remember that one well because school was out. Weather was ass for half the country.

 

Read something on Bluesky the other day I wish I could find again. The pink hats at the original march are the first design a beginning knitter learns to make. Therefore they were easy to produce in mass quantities and there were women on charter buses knitting them up for distribution while riding to DC. It evolved into a formal organization and another #Resistance grift, but it was born as a genuine grassroots movement. This wasn’t a merchandising opportunity then.

Also, I would say that movement and others like it did have some success. Trump never got a honeymoon phase and Democrats started way overperforming in special elections before taking the House in 2018. Even with the vote total falling off, Kamala Harris still got 10 million more votes than Hillary Clinton eight years prior.

Comment overheard on local talk radio: The Green Berets need to update their field manuals. The Cybertruck contained the explosion and sent the force of it up, not out. The doors to the Trump Motel weren't even cracked.

Wouldn't the US Army be the suspect for indoctrination here. In the Las Vegas case, it sure sounds to me like an acute personal crisis rather than a political motive.
