    It's worth reminding that 71 million people voted for Trump in 2020 with no plans to "fix" the economy. The economy really wasn't THAT big a deal in 2024. It's just a tired punchline at this point.

    I wasn't crazy about that protest because it didn't target any policy or anything Trump had actually done. (How could it? It was right after the inauguration). They were protesting only that he won and said that pussy grab thing years before.

    I mean the protest may have been silly, but 18 and 20 saw Democrat wins. It wasn’t so pointless.

    Also I kinda have this notion that if a protest was explicitly centered on people not in my demographic profile maybe blithely dismissing it as silly isn’t the move.
