Shouldn't be too difficult to avoid getting arrested again, thanks to the blanket immunity his SCOTUS granted him.

Trump made them an offer they couldn’t refuse.

 

It's all House kabuki and haß little to do with Trump. Two guys voted against Johnson while the rest voted present or didn't answer and then voted for him at the last minute. Then the two nos waited some more listened to some pleading and/or promises and voted for him. They didn't want to spend a weekend doing this shit, so they devised a playlet that let them tell Johnson, "we can get rid of you anytime we want." Once the election result is certified on Monday, Trump will lose all interest in Johnson. If he gets knifed it's nothing to Trump.
