Is Mike Johnson still claiming he doesn't have a bank account?

He's not going to appear physically, virtually, any way at all. His response will be, "fuck you, I don't have to appear anywhere."

It’s a great strategy: make the voting booth so funky Republicans won’t want to enter!

Everybody involved in "the real world" and any of its iterations should have been snuffed off the earth long long ago.

Man, Rupert Murdoch just unloaded more than a dozen bad contracts on the Trump Administration. I'm sure the only ones left behind are the ones Trump likes watching most - like Hannity and the Fox Friends in the morning.

Here's one for you. Remember when Kevin McCarthy in order to keep his speakership bargained it down to where it only took one person to bring a motion to vacate the Speaker's chair and all the misery he endured as a result? You may have heard that the R's just passed a change in the Congressional rules to require nine votes to bring a motion to vacate, which will protect the Speaker a bit. What you may not have heard was that they added to that rule that only the majority party can bring that motion. They disenfranchised the minority completely. Seriously. Previously either party could do so.

The other thing is that when the R's did the kabuki theater today, the vote being held, people getting promises or pressured into changing their votes, in the initial vote count there were three votes against Johnson and six more who withheld their votes. They can probably muster nine votes if they decide to. New rule protection looks like thin armor.

Couldn't Elon or Trump just primary or recall anyone who hinders Johnson? Throw enough money at someone, tell Trumpers Rep. X is "Fake MAGA" and he or she is toast.
