I'm going to run on a platform "How much grift is too much? Let's start stopping it soon." Do I start at mayor?

I get where Johnson is coming from, he doesn't want to have to arm-twist for 12 bills. But he'll do it once.

I'm sure they'll call it the Make America Great Act.

Funny side note, I didn't realize the RICO act allowing the government to shut down racketeering and the like was named after the lead character in Little Caesar starring Edward G. Robinson. Thanks Jeopardy!!

Yeah, but the plan was to pass a couple of things that they had wide agreement on quickly. Immigration maybe. Get the first hundred days moving early, then come back to taxes and tariffs. Adding taxes and the various finance issues to an omnibus package is going to slow things down tremendously. The R's don't have enough votes to ram things through rough shod, they have to play ball a bit. The Freedom Caucus has proved over and over that they're willing to gum up the works, vote things down in order to pressure for their policy priorities.

    Ask McCarthy about it.

The weirdest thing about the Trump agenda, is that outside of immigration, none of his priorities are pressing and may be damaging to the economy. But by all means, full speed ahead. Better get it done before people realize they've been duped.

Four years ago, the most deranged POTUS in history sicced bis violent goons on the Capitol because he couldn't handle the fact that he lost a fair election. A sickening, shameful, literally unbelievable day.

But today....he's two weeks away from returning to power. Those who voted for him in 2024, some for the first time, validated his disgusting criminal behavior and those of his loathsome cronies and cult members.

And for that, my fellow Americans, I say F*CK YOU and your f*ckin' eggs you short-sighted, self-involved, selfish motherf*ckers. F*ck you.

Also: Fuck your interesting third-party ideas and your principled decisions to waste your vote because there’s nothing worse than voting for a Libruhl.

The only thing worse than voting for a Libruhl is voting for someone who has a vagina like you, or a skin color like you, or a socio-economic background like you.
