Trump is going to sell us to Russia.

I guess Ronald Reagan was woke.

Donald Trump is freaking crazy. And an unbelievable POS. Why should Zelensky trust or listen to him, about anything, at this point? Ukraine got attacked without provocation, Trump says he's going to hold talks to end the "war" -- and doesn't include the country under attack. And implies that it can only give in to the attacker, and can't join up for any protections from NATO, etc. -- that that's the only way. WTF!?! As if Ukraine, and not Russia, is in the wrong here.

    Only in Trump World.

    MSN

Asserting that the initial round of talks had gone “very well,” Trump bristled at Zelenskyy’s frustration over being excluded and at the Ukrainian president’s decision not to fly to Riyadh for additional talks with the U.S. delegation this week.

“Today I heard, ‘Oh, well, we weren’t invited,’” Trump said when asked about criticism from Ukraine, seeming to direct his response to Zelenskyy. “Well, you’ve been there for three years. You should have ended it — three years. You should have never been there. You should have never started it. You should have made a deal.”

The comment — ignoring that it was Russia that invaded Ukraine without provocation three years ago this month — was Trump’s harshest condemnation to date of the Ukrainian side. It came as Zelenskyy and leaders across Europe are scrambling to respond to growing indications that Kyiv’s most critical ally for the last three years appears to be more interested in normalizing relations with Russia than in making sure Ukraine endures and that Russian President Vladimir Putin faces stronger deterrence after starting the first land war on European soil since 1945.

This is a better, more comprehensive story on the U,S-Russia talks about Ukraine, and Trump's blame of Ukraine, from CNN.

    MSN

It looked like things couldn’t get any darker for Ukraine. Then President Donald Trump spoke up.

After cutting President Volodymyr Zelensky out of the first US talks with Russia on ending the war, Trump on Tuesday falsely accused Ukraine of starting a conflict that has ravaged its land and killed thousands of its people.

And in his most hostile comments toward the Ukrainian leader yet, Trump voiced yet another of President Vladimir Putin’s talking points — that it was time for an election in Ukraine — in an apparent bid to begin the process of pushing Zelensky aside.

The US president’s comments will fuel fresh fears in Europe, which was also excluded from the US-Russia talks in Saudi Arabia, that Trump will try to impose a peace deal in Ukraine that favors his friend in the Kremlin.

His remarks also appeared to directly contradict assurances by his own Secretary of State Marco Rubio after meeting the Russian delegation that any eventual peace agreement would be fair to all parties.

And Trump’s attack on Zelensky, who was hailed as a hero in the United States for resisting Russia’s Blitzkrieg on Kyiv early in the war, was a graphic sign of how the new American administration has reversed Washington’s stance of supporting the victim of the invasion and is now rewarding the aggressor.

It's just sickening -- twisted -- and not the way most Americans feel, I don't think. Just the one in charge. Unfortunately.

I really wish Dems would have hammered the Kellyanne “alternate facts” philosophy on an endless basis. Start treating everything Trump and Co. say as the opposite occurring. When Trump says one thing, go on every outlet and thank him for confirming the opposite.

There were three more things to mock 24 hours later. Can't keep up.

In 2017, Trumpists showed up in Charlottesville, carrying torches and yelling bigoted slurs. The next day, one of them killed a counter-protester. Their boy said some of them were "very fine people."
When he lost the 2020 election, he exhorted his klan to come to DC to protest. He then fired them up and encouraged them to use violence. He lamented that metal detectors at the US Capitol had not been disabled. His klan followed his implications. Five people died.
We later learned that he stole classified documents, some of which have never been recovered and are presumed to have been sold.

Yet millions of Americans decided none of that mattered.

And the rest of us are equally culpable of error or even treason because we wonder why Trump supporters remain loyal?

Interesting take on neo-nazis, copped from the "Tales from your server" Reddit.

"I was at a shitty crustpunk bar once getting an after-work beer. One of those shitholes where the bartenders clearly hate you. So the bartender and I were ignoring one another when someone sits next to me and he immediately says, "no. get out."

And the dude next to me says, "hey i'm not doing anything, i'm a paying customer." and the bartender reaches under the counter for a bat or something and says, "out. now." and the dude leaves, kind of yelling. And he was dressed in a punk uniform, I noticed

Anyway, I asked what that was about and the bartender was like, "you didn't see his vest but it was all nazi shit. Iron crosses and stuff. You get to recognize them."

And i was like, ohok and he continues.

"you have to nip it in the bud immediately. These guys come in and it's always a nice, polite one. And you serve them because you don't want to cause a scene. And then they become a regular and after awhile they bring a friend. And that dude is cool too.

And then THEY bring friends and the friends bring friends and they stop being cool and then you realize, oh shit, this is a Nazi bar now. And it's too late because they're entrenched and if you try to kick them out, they cause a PROBLEM. So you have to shut them down.

And i was like, 'oh damn.' and he said "yeah, you have to ignore their reasonable arguments because their end goal is to be terrible, awful people."

And then he went back to ignoring me. But I haven't forgotten that at all."
