Lake called those contracts “expensive and unnecessary” in an X post Thursday. Lake didn’t respond to a request for comment.

That cancellation has serious implications for RFA’s news operations.

It is sad, that my greatest satisfaction with Trump 2.0 is that he seems to be as miserable as the people who he is ordering around, ruining legacies left and right and the people who voted for him are not being spared. Maybe it isn't a nice sentiment, but it would be worse if Trump and MAGA seemed to be enjoying the way things are going. Listening to right-wing radio, nobody sounds thrilled. They may say the words, but they are not the least bit convincing.

 

Never mentions Trump or Musk personally.
