That was excellent, and all true. Sanders, whether you like him or not, does always seem to speak ordinary people's language and make things understandable to them.

He's right here, too, but the problem is that leaving our government and democracy to the majority of the regular people does not seem to be a good idea right now. We only have to look to the 2024 election voting to see that. People don't know what to do, don't seem to have the time or inclination to do it, and don't seem to care enough about anything to combat it.

So yeah, we're in trouble.
