Have fun with that during the holidays. Unless he's sweating out the week there.

 

Pretty sure that flying the President places and providing security for him is considered one of the essential government functions that doesn't get shut down ever. (Also, I assume AF1 comes out of the military budget, and I think that one has already been signed into law.) Now if he wanted to stay in DC because it would look inappropriate for him to be flying to a vacation while much of the government is not functioning...who am I kidding?
