Year end is an arbitrary time frame.

The market is down a few percentage points after hitting all time highs.

Did you expect the market to only go straight up?

It's still up a bunch since election night 2016, and this is likely a buying opportunity. We're already 1,500 points off of the recent low, which took out the low for the year.

That the market has done this well with a trade war, a government shutdown, and a change in the House leadership is a sign of the market and the economy's strength.
