There is a lot of information to be learned from his returns having nothing to do with possible violations of the Internal Revenue Code, assuming all schedules and partnership returns are disclosed rather than just the first two pages of a 1040. At the most fundamental level, we could see whether he does actually pay taxes and, if he does, his effective tax rate. Whether he does or doesn't have a liability, we could see why. We could see which charitable organizations he supports out of his own pocket. We could see the sources of his income. For example, maybe we would see his income doesn't come from being such a clever real estate guy but from licensing fees or perhaps some other unknown business ventures. We could see what mortgages are being paid on what properties and who holds those mortgages. Same for other business and personal debt. We would see his partnership's foreign activity. We would see the balance sheets of his partnerships. At the very least, this information is relevant determining his business acumen, whether tax policies and regulatory policies he's advanced have a disproportionate or unusual benefit on his taxes and business operations, whether he is advancing other policies that have a disproportionate or unusual benefit for his lenders or business partners. There certainly is information in the complete returns that is relevant to net worth.

Yeah: 1. Nice. 2. If that is acting like a nit-wit, thank goodness everything wasn't videoed in the 1980s, or I'd be toast.

Republican SCOTUS nominee accused of misdeeds in high school: Well, that was a long time ago and you can't judge somebody by their teenage years.

Democratic Congresswoman dances in a video in high school: The horror! The horror!

Trump's first ever briefing room appearance, he spouts off some crap that has no evidence of truth, takes no questions, and walks off.

    Seems about right.

You wonder - I mean you know - that flew a couple of those border agents up and back for that three minute hit.

He couldn't stand it being Pelosi's day, so he did this. It won't work. Trump being in the last age cohort that watches nightly network news, he will see 1. Wall Street selloff. Possibly 1A but more likely 2. Pelosi becomes Speaker. Then and only then 3. Trump's appearance but only as part of government shutdown story.
