I probably wouldn't have hired him just based on the plagiarism charge. But it's plagiarism, not fabrication, which is the one unforgivable sin.

Fabrication is malum in se. Plagiarism is malum prohibitum.

Agree that there is a difference from plagerism and manufacturing quotes and just getting bum information from a source (why these unnamed sources remain unnamed after giving bad information is beyond me though).
