    Is Mueller mad because the story is false, or is he mad because the story got in front of his legal strategy? Either would be a legitimate reason to try to knock the story down.

    This reporting team has been leading in the Moscow hotel stuff for months now, and includes a Pulitzer winner (Cormier) and a Pulitzer finalist — albeit with a “checkered history” (Leopold). So, we’ll see.
