I feared something like this may happen. This report/investigation has grown to almost mythic proportions in the media and on several late night talk shows that, well, is it any wonder we’ve arrived at a moment of severe conflict?

Note that Buzzfeed never said anything came from Mueller's team, they said "Law enforcement sources". I lean toward thinking that it came from the SDNY, likely FBI there. Emptywheel does some interesting dissection here.

I'm just catching up with this story (been drinking heavily and listening to some really good music at my local art center) but was Mueller mentioned in the BF story?

 

If so, why the attempt to put the onus on Mueller? Unless Buzzfeed is thinking it'll all come out in the report instead of wanting him to reply now.

Mitch isn't wrong. The bills would benefit the Ds, by taking money out of politics and encouraging more people to vote. Of course, he's also saying that the Republicans are currently able to buy elections and limit voting to their advantage.
