The teens were already getting into it with a group of Black Hebrew Israelities. Phillips and his small band of Native American marchers put themselves between the two. The MAGA crowd's response was to start chanting, including eventually chanting, "Build That Wall."

 

If you have to ruin the reputation of someone like Nathan Phillips to get to the truth is the truth worth getting to?

 

Also, we seem to keep glossing over the fact that these kids were on a school-sponsored trip to take part in a political march. It wasn't just one student in a MAGA hat, but dozens. To not expect some sort of backlash at the event and then cry victim is arrogant and naive.

 

I’m still dissecting this incident.

MAGA hat kid will a guest at the next SOTU (whenever that is) and will be praised for his "civic engagement."
