Trump claiming in Oval Office event we were on the verge of war with North Korea. Is this a rehash of an old lie, or is this another one he's pulling out of his ass? Because it sure doesn't sound like something Obama would have done.

It's bullshit. He was in "Rocket Man" mode, and no doubt that caused tension, but "the verge of war"?

Nah.

 

This may be why Trump's Twitter Throne has been so agitated. Any of Stone's confidants have to be sweating now. I suspect that a lot of this material was acquired in ways other than as a result of the raid on his home, but where they got it won't matter. I wonder if we're looking at more 6 a.m. raids tomorrow?



Edit: check comments on the above and this one. It looks like Stone trusted Whatsapp's encryption security, and had also backed it up to the cloud. If that's true, he and those he was talking to are in deep shit.





I would add that the timeline implied above gives the lie to the whole "The Mueller investigation will be over any day now" crap that has been floated of late.
