Probably so. Guess I was talking more of a timeline thing. Most people I know try smoking first, but I can see where that wouldn’t be so.

 

I guess I don't see drugs going away. And seemingly everyone not named Trump says that the wall will have very little if any impact on the drug trade. So it appears to me that if there is ultimately a solution it will not involve a wall (or barrier or fence or steel slats). I am not an expert but I talk to people that are (both law enforcement and addicts) and it is the fault of big pharma and Dr Feelgoods that got us into this predicament. So stop handing out opioids like Tic Tacs might be one place to start. I have a friend that is an addict. He got hooked on oxy after kidney cancer. Lost everything including a huge postal pension. Years ago the pharmaceutical companies changed the make up of oxy so you can't crush/snort it, it would turn into a goo if I remember correctly. He told me "herion is about to blow up". He was right.

Off topic but I get a kick out of the new "We can't arrest our way out of tbe drug problem" approach from law enforcement and conservatives now that middle/upper class white kids are dying and killing each other. It sure never seemed like that was their philosophy when it was a "ghetto drug".

Yeah, but it's Trump. One. perhaps two days later, he'll be back in "blame the Democrats" mode because Vlad, Coulter, Rush, Lahern or Conway threatened to say something mean about him. He lives for the affirmation.
Days and times like this I wonder who the hell are Lahren and Coulter and how and why they became so f'ing important to anyone. Or is it just knee-jerk for the Beltway media to check in with them when they need someone conservative to comment on something.

Amazing that that wasn't dug out before now. It's not like Northam is new to politics. The statement is about as good as you can make, but it's a good thing Virginia governors only get one four year term.
