FWIW, I'm friends with three people who work in the state budget office and they all had to work yesterday, like they do every year. Not sure if everyone else was working, but it wasn't a day off for state employees. Not sure why that's the case, but it is. So I assume everyone who mattered was around the building.

The WaPo Daily 202 included this tidbit on who blew the whistle on Northam's yearbook.

    - The editor in chief of the website Big League Politics said he uncovered the story thanks to a tip from a “concerned citizen” who was outraged about comments Northam made last week about late-term abortion. Paul Farhi reports: Patrick Howley “declined to give any further information about his source, citing a confidentiality agreement. But he said it took him just a few hours to confirm that the photo was authentic. The source of the tip appears to have been a medical school classmate or classmates of Northam who acted as a direct result of the abortion controversy that erupted earlier in the week, according to two people at Big League Politics."

This from a poster who wrote..."I mean, however he classifies his time, you can't say he's not immersed in whatever's going on. He often appears to have no idea how to handle things, but I don't think you can say he's not paying attention."

You actually wrote this. About a man that bases much of his border discussion on a fucking Sicario movie. About a man that can not read an intelligence report and doesn't really think he needs to because his gut tells him otherwise. Granted it is an ample gut but good lord. If this was intended as some good natured trolling and I was whooshed I apologize.

For the budget office, at least. Like I said, I don't know why. But the friends I referenced were all there yesterday until at least 7 p.m.
