Trump campaign takes steps to prevent a challenge within GOP

Worried about a potential Republican primary challenge, President Donald Trump's campaign has launched a state-by-state effort to prevent an intraparty fight that could spill over into the general-election campaign.

 

This may be the only time I've seen California, Mississippi and West Virginia on an island together.

 

Mississippi, of all states. Alabama used to be able to say "Thank god for Mississippi" when it was ranked 49th in various important rankings.

That's becoming less true now.

 

All it’ll take is one massive measles pandemic for those yellow states to flip like Michael Cohen.

 

I wonder if there will be an on the record vote on this. Hell, the Republicans know that this is a horrible precedent to set. Those who vote to allow it will be on the record in 2020.
