    Oop-
Even you aren't pigheaded enough to equate a hijacked American election with a home-run crown.
BTW, you're not winning any respect from him or his moron followers by insisting upon calling him President Trump.

Not that it can really be quantified, but to what extent does Canada (or anybody) ASK America to bear that burden? America is the controlling husband of a wife that probably doesn't want to be controlled.

You're on your own when The Big One hits. :)

I'm not trying to win the respect of President Trump's supporters. You should know that by how consistently and relentlessly I call them on their bullshit. And I did not equate those two things. I brought up an example to help illustrate my point. I believe that you sidestepped my question because you knew you couldn't answer me honestly without conceding the point. I'll answer it for you. Barry Bonds holds the MLB home run records. That he cheated to get those records does not change the fact that he set them. The balls still went out. When I acknowledge his records, I'm not denying the reality that he cheated. I'm acknowledging all of the related bits of reality.

The same is true of the election. Question its legitimacy all you like, but the result put President Trump in the White House. Acknowledging that does not ignore the very real questions about that election.

I'm not trying to win anybody's support by calling him President Trump. I'm standing by what I think is the proper way to write about him. It is the same reason I tend to refer to athletes and other people by their last names when I write about them, even here. It's how I choose to communicate and I'm not changing that just because I think the current president is an amoral jackass who never should have gotten the job.

I thought California Democrats hated the idea of guns and a military?
They apparently aren't keen on the idea of trash collection and cleanliness, either.

The toy caucus? Sounds about right.

Between Hunter, Collins and Duke Cunningham, that little slice of California sure does pump out some crooked Republicans.

US arms sold to Saudi Arabia and UAE end up in wrong hands

So we sell the Saudis military equipment and they give it away to ISIS and al-Queda and Iran - which insures that we will need to give them more weapons so they can (and probably we can) continue war in the Middle East. Makes perfect sense.

    A little SOTU preview, perhaps?

P.S. — Nixon resigned a little more than six months later.
