He'll never get over the black man who mocked him because of racist lies.

I understand it is the nature of the beast - but whether it is Howard Schultz masquerading as a presidential candidate to get publicity for his book or McCabe coming forth with new details as his book comes out, it kind of sickens me. Why respected news outlets are allowing themselves to be co-opted by Schultz, why they are not roasting McCabe for not being more forthcoming sooner (like when he was a sworn law enforcement official) is beyond me.

It says a lot that it seems like that controversy was so long ago - we've moved on to other outrages and distractions. It's always a good idea to not make any rash decisions when dealing with a sudden media controversy. The internet can blow stuff up within hours and it can blow away just as quickly (Covington kids) and something else will come along to be a newer outrage.
Despite the media maelstrom, I think all three officials in Virginia offer examples on how to deal with these things. Northam should never have admitted he was in the photo. Should have claimed he never saw the yearbook, never bought one and was too busy serving in the military after med school to track one down and no one reached out to him about it until now. Fairfax demanded an investigation of the charges against him. And the AG rightly came out and admitted what he did before any fotos surfaced. You give the media no place else to go.
I think a lot of these things get blown up and there is a push to force a resignation before the media gets distracted by something else. After a week, it's "old news."

I'd just get rid of the whole line thing beforehand and do a lottery. The end.

And you bet your behind the homeless will take that money. AOC has a plan that'll save em all in eleventy billion years tho, I'm sure.
