And that's old news, well known and undisputed. That was Ivanka's deal, and it was shady as hell.

I'm convinced the only collusion Trump has going is with any and every organization in need of money laundering. Could be the Russian mob, the Italian mafia, Mexican cartels ... doesn't matter as long as he gets his cut.

I am reading between the lines, so take this for what it's worth. But the various stories about "the systematic purge" going on at DHS, including the Secret Service director just now, make it sound like Steven Miller has been given the keys to Chevy. Miller also strikes me as an idiot who doesn't know what he doesn't know, and he thinks he is going to remake these government agencies into a force of brownshirts to handle the immigrant boogeymen in his head. What I am guessing is going on is that any adult left who says, "We can't do that," "That is against the law," "that isn't in our mandate," etc. is getting tossed. That is going to leave even more empty positions and understaffed agencies, all of which might make halting efforts to enact Miller's Napoleonic edicts, but which are going to end up in a quagmire of Congressional hearings and courts striking them down. I am not sure what the end game of this would be, other than Trump thinking that by looking like he's tough and fighting for his nonsense, it is going to translate to voter support -- even as he accomplishes nothing except making the country into even more of a joke. I also think that barring the Democrats coming up with another Hilary Clinton, or equally unlikeable hyena, Trump is heading for a trouncing. That "base" everyone talks about isn't that big. He needs a lot of ignorant people in strategically perfect places, who took a flyer on his bullshit last time, to go for his bullshit again. And I am pretty sure (or at least hoping) we're all going to find out that they ain't falling for the same snake oil act twice.

The biggest asset an incumbent politician has is the "known quantity" vs. an unknown quantity. Voters know what they're going to get vs. uncertainty. I think people would accept full-on socialism right now vs. the "another day/another controversy" coming from this WH.

That seems to be what got Neilsen tossed overboard. Trump kept telling her to do things, and he got tired of hearing "I can't, that's illegal". There are no more adults in the room to contest him, just toadies.

Stephen Miller didn't get elected to a damn thing, he's ascendant, and someone needs to second amendment solution his ass.

When you have the biggest — really just the best you've ever seen; top level, incredible really — brain, you don't need all those "other" people.

The Trump Org is of the belief that because they don't have any equity in the deal, the FCPA doesn't apply. A nickel says that they didn't do an hour of due diligence -- they don't care as long as someone is writing checks (and the people who write those sorts of checks in those kinds of places are shady as hell).
