    Seriously. He's so hamhanded with his lies and bullshit and attempts to spin everything. How anyone falls for this grifter is beyond me.

    My best hope is that ultimately the facts matter. Whatever those facts are. All the spin the world, whether it is Trump or those who hate Trump, doesn't change what is an objective truth. For me, all along Mueller was about that truth. Whatever it is. I am hoping we can get an honest glimpse of the truth, through despite the political shenigans around trying to spin everything. We'll see, I guess.

    Some political scientist on Twitter yesterday gave my opinion on this. Essentially, opinions on Trump are so set in stone that the facts, whatever they may be, won't have much political impact. The reaction to Barr's letter certainly suggests that's valid.
    So out of paranoia and narcissism, Trump has insured the fallout from the report will be more drawn out than if he'd just had Barr release the damn thing.

    If nothing happens from the report — and I don’t expect anything to imperil trumps presidency — how much further does that expand presidential powers? And will congress or SCOTUS ever pull back the reins?
