My dad once felt Carter was the worst President ever. That is until Trump came along. And he even voted for Trump.

It is still difficult to believe that ANYONE became president after:
--accumulating zero seconds of public sector experience
--refusing to release their taxes
--creating a fake online university to scam people
--launching a birther crusade
--calling Mexican immigrants rapists
--saying all sorts of terrible things about women and consent in front of TV cameras
--requesting the help of Russia in hacking his opponent

etc. etc.

Just imagine if Barack......

Saudi Arabia beheads 37 people, mostly minority Shiites, convicted of terrorism

Saudi Arabia on Tuesday beheaded 37 Saudi citizens, most of them minority Shiites, in a mass execution across the country over what it said was terrorism-related crimes. It publicly pinned one man’s body and severed head to a pole as a warning to others.

 

Carter was a poor POTUS at a terrible time.
He was/still is a decent human being trying to do the best he could.
I'd vote for him in a heartbeat.

 

Carter was and remains a human being whose life stands as an unspoken reproach to the rest of us, me included. But he was not a good President. I wouldn't say he was in the bottom 10, but not too far above them, either.
