I got the answer to a question I asked the other day. What can the House do if Barr (or anyone) refuses to comply with a subpoena? The House can send someone to to arrest that person. The AG has an FBI security detail. Is it possible that in the United States in 2019 we could have federal authorities in an armed standoff over taking a cabinet member into custody? Would that be the straw that broke the republic's back?

There are dozens of people around Trump who are ready to flip on him if the opportunity arises. Part of me thinks Barr is playing some kind of Frank Underwood game on Trump, willing to damage their personal rep initially in order to secure a closer relationship in order to roll later. He's not running for anything anymore.

For all the "bad press" the President gets - the actual number of damning newspaper investigations that have come out is surprisingly small. The impact of opening his reelection campaign days after being sworn in and the amount of money that has poured in and number of ex-staffers who end up there (and I imagine signing NDAs), the number of industries and companies patronizing his businesses who end up getting favorable treatment from the WH.

Before KG went to Fox, she worked for CNN and is the ex-wife of California Gov. Gavin Newsom, about as far politically from Junior as you can get
She is best known for being the San Francisco district attorney in the case where the couple was mauled to death by a dog in the hallway of their apartment building

Note where every player in the front row has her hands.

Notice none (0) of the players are actually looking at the fat fuckpig.
In fact, most are looking quite conspicuously in other (random) directions.

    Sheer coincidence? I'd guess not.
