I'm coming around to the idea that the Dems should proceed with impeachment. I understand the reluctance, the possible negative impacts on 2020, etc. - but political considerations are why Trump is being given a pass by the GOP and at some point our leaders need to stand up and put their name down on the record for posterity.
Outside of Steyer doing the impeachment stuff - I'd figure there would be a PAC running "Call Senator X and demand accountibility" spots.

Coupled in the wagering with "LeBron will singlehandedly turn the Lakers into a winning team again!"

If it's Biden, I figure the veep will be Harris.

I have no clue who Bernie would pick - I don't get the sense that he listens to a lot of advice from others in the Senate.

    1. I don’t think it’ll be either Biden or Bernie. History has shown that early Dem frontrunners don’t fare well, unlike the GOP frontrunner (The last presidential election being a major exception, as the whole thing was flipped: a Hillary coronation and Jeb ush cratering on the GOP side.)

    2. I too am coming around on impeachment. I want the Republicans to show their cards. But it needs to happen sooner rather than later to keep it from getting entangled with the 2020 primary season. This September at the latest.

Un-freaking-believeable ... except for this White House.

Exactly. Force the Republicans, on the most serious stage yet, to either sack up or toady on for a traitor president.

“Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!”

I’m confused. I thought Republicans were in favor of the free market.

Republican principles are like Trump's waistbands. Elastic and tailored for fat asses.
