You don't think Obama could have won a third term if he'd have run against Trump?

As for your second point, I agree with you 100 percent.
I do find it funny, however, that people were calling me a lunatic 2 1/2 years ago for proffering similar conspiracy theories (more curious musings than actual theories) about the last administration, but with this one they're acceptable.

Teddy Roosevelt did run again in 1912 with the Bull Moose Party after filling more than half of McKinley’s second term and getting elected in 1904 to his own term, so technically speaking, he was trying to go longer than the 8 years.

Taft was Chief Justice of SCOTUS, which is the job he really wanted instead of president (as crazy as it sounds).

Are you just referring to elected federal office?

Yes. One of the big four -- VP, president, congressman or senator. There might have been some that were cabinet members or judges of some sort.

You don't think the current administration warrants more conspiracy theories?

Every administration warrants some conspiracy theories.

C'mon, that's a dodge. This administration is a clown show and a fraud racket every damn day.

It's hard to find an administration in the last 100 years that doesn't have either a conspiracy theory or bonafide scandal that sounds like a wild conspiracy theory attached to it.

    Trump - Russian collusion
    Obama - Benghazi
    George W. Bush - 9/11
    Clinton - Watergate
George H.W. Bush - Something with Noriega? (it's late)
Reagan - Iran-Contra and the Iranian hostages
Carter - Nothing's coming to me (it's late), but maybe the botched hostage rescue in Iran?
    Ford - Nixon's pardon
    Nixon - Watergate
LBJ - He engineered the JFK assassination
JFK - His own assassination and Bay of Pigs
    Eisenhower - Aliens?
Truman - Dropping the atomic bomb
FDR - Knew about Pearl Harbor and let it happen anyway

I don't know enough if Hoover and Coolidge did, but Harding was hip deep in scandals and there were conspiracy theories about Woodrow Wilson letting the Lusitania get sunk to bring the U.S. into WWI.
    You get the idea.
    Americans love conspiracy theories.
