President Trump: The NEW one and only politics thread

I saw an article last week about washing machines. Those that are imported, Samsung, LG and the like, have gone up roughly $100 due to the Trump tariffs. Those made domestically have gone up by about the same $100, because they can make extra profits by doing so. As a result, every American who has to buy a new washer is paying that $100.

Imbecile is too nice a word.

NBC clearly wants to show both sides but some guy from the Washington Examiner? Really? Am I missing something that I should understand?

I posted that because I fully agree that the Congressional investigations of Trump are oversight as intended under the Separation of Powers that all of us (except Trump) learned about in elementary school social studies. Trump has recently been attacking such as "an attempted coup". I don't understand why NBC would post that at all, particularly under that headline.

*edit* Sure there are partisan politics involved, but at this point the things that are being investigated should be under bipartisan scrutiny for the good of the country. The R's have refused to do their part.

But when Biden is elected and the Republican senate wants his Ukraine shenanigans investigated . . . will the Ds do their part?
