Looking forward to hear how this guy sings ...

One person who might be able to enlighten them is Allen Weisselberg, who was Fred Trump’s accountant and is now the Trump Organization’s chief financial officer. He recently entered into an immunity agreement to cooperate with federal prosecutors in Manhattan who have been investigating a Trump lawyer, Michael Cohen.

A friend thought the bidet in his hotel room in Austria was there for him to wash his socks. So he did.

On Denver and the mass shootings.

What is it about this metro area? I consider Denver to be a very safe large metro area when I’m there. Much safer than, say, Kansas City, St. Louis, Phoenix, Oklahoma City or Memphis.

Why these types of killings? Columbine, Aurora theatre and the one yesterday.

Speaking of Kansas City. Went there for a work conference at the end of April for four days. Have to say, it was a pretty tame town. Great food, but walking around downtown on a Sunday was like walking around downtown Bridgeport, near where I live. Just expected more action. Hung out on a Tuesday night in the Power & Light district and there was barely anyone around. Unfortunately the Royals were out of town when I was there, bc I would have loved to see that stadium.

unpresidented and very concerning the scathing bleacher report editorial deplatformed him from the ice for a year stolen but there are no reparations in sports the tea party had very legitimate concerns about government overreach and what our founding fathers wanted but after that sketchy period from 2008-2016 the swamp has been drained and freedom and liberty are back bigger than ever

Alex Cora shouldn't snub Trump over Puerto Rico's woes

What is downtown Bridgeport like these days? Last time I walked around the area with any regularity was the mid-90s and I know my memories likely aren't indicative of where it's at today.

It's relatively clean and safe, but it's still boring. They have a new comedy club -- the one Pete Davidson walked out of the last week bc he's a putz -- but not many things to draw you down there. The Bluefish semi-pro baseball team folded last year, but the Sound Tigers (an Islanders farm team) still draws people to Webster Bank arena. They've built a lot of things, including Steel Point, which has a huge Bass Pro Shop and other shops. And they're trying to get a casino. But it's still Bridgeport, a place that cratered in the late 80s and has a mayor (Joe Ganim) that went to jail for 9 years for corruption. The city is so freaking crooked.

But thankfully they can look it up on google now.

More corrupt than Waterbury? If so, daaaaaaaaamn.

A casino? That ship has set sail, hasn't it? There's one that just went up in Everett, MA and another in Springfield, MA. Then again, the sites in eastern CT aren't the easiest to get to and there is nothing else to keep you there once you arrive, so WTF do I know?

No, Bridgeport and Waterbury are corruption brothers. Their mayor...JFC...the stuff he did with those young kids. They should have made a eunuch out of Giordano, who I unfortunately interviewed once prior to that whole scandal.

Yeah, they're still holding out hope for a casino. I don't gamble, so it wouldn't affect me much. And I've read conflicting reports on whether it would be economically and sociologically beneficial to the area.

My girlfriend lives in Stamford, where I will probably go for dinner tonight. Now that's a city that actually has some energy and night life, which is ironic bc they have almost no live music venues.

Last time I was in Bridgeport they still had jai alai.

Goddamn. You interviewed that guy? So sorry. If ever Starman Justice™ was in order...

Fairfield county nightlife has greatly improved over the years, I imagine in large part due to old money aging out and new money needing more to do.

CT used to be a freaking mecca for live music. Toad's Place was a second home during my formative years.
