He ran, he didn't like it, he won.

If the media is in the business of telling someone something - which it should not be - tell Congress to make a law about it, then wait for the law.

 

I don't want anything. I'm saying the tradition of releasing taxes served no purpose if the one guy who might have shady taxes didn't release them and won anyway. So, if you wanna catch that guy, I dunno, maybe Congress should pass a law.

I'm also arguing that, on some level, they can't agree on a lunch order because it suits them not to.

 

He actually was punished by the voters for it, since he lost the popular vote.

 

Maybe. Maybe not.

Maybe he would have lost the popular vote by more if he hadn't taken that "I won't be bullied" stance, which may/may not have rallied X more voters to the polls.

 

Imagine if Hillary held off releasing her taxes until Trump did his - granted she'd already done it in the primary and would have lost to Bernie without doing it - but all the lock her up stuff happened even with releasing the returns.

 

Imagine if President Gore, Kerry, Obama, H. Clinton, said they had fallen in love with a commie dictator AND THEN said they were "with him" after he conducted a missile test AFTER saying the dictator no longer posed a threat.
