The dipshit can't write or speak (and all evidence points to, read).
I appreciate efforts to decipher Moron, but he isn't worth it.

Right. "Things we are doing, including Mars," means a mission to Mars, and going to the moon is a part of that.

You know what this reminds me of? When Obama was talking about how tough the campaign trail is and said "I think we've been to 57 states by now." Idiots on the right spent the next eight years going "OMG he doesn't know how many states there are!"

    Don't be that idiot.

Besides, he's liable to say something equally or even more moronic at some point.

Not necessarily. It requires fuel to land and take off from the moon again. It ain't like stopping at the Shell station for 20 bucks of gas.

That picture of him in the truck was all you needed to know that he was never going to rise to the job.

True, if coming to and going from the lunar surface. (It's a sixth the gravity of Earth and thereby savings are realized, and perhaps the components of rocket fuel can be mined there at a cheaper rate, but never mind that.)

But if coming and going from lunar orbit, you don't have to worry about gravity at all other than orbital mechanics. In fact, Earth can be used as a gravitational slingshot to make the Mars voyage faster without the added expense of delta-V.
