See, I could give a shit about Ivanka being there. It's not like she's the first less-than-qualified person to ever get a high-ranking position in an administration based on nepotism or political patronage. Nor will she be the last. We've managed to survive all of those folks doing what they do, and we'll survive this one.
I was genuinely fascinated about the logistics of that situation and working the margins of the talking point. Then it seemed like you missed what I was going for and started going all Starman Junior on my ass. And Starman is always angry. No, Ivanka is a different level of stupidity and nepotism than the run of the mill patronage. First, not since Robert Kennedy as AG has anything come within 1000 miles of this kind of nepotism. And while Bobby didn’t seem qualified for AG, in hindsight, he was borderline brilliant. She is literally a below average intellect with a an extraordinary sense of entitlement. She’s dim.

When you look at Trump as a wannabe mafioso, his nepotism makes perfect sense. This children (except for Tiffany, it seems) are the ONLY people he trusts. And his only “friends.”
