Several prominent liberal activists, such as former Obama administration official Brian Fallon — now at Demand Justice, an organizing group — also chimed in with support.

“The four House freshmen whom Pelosi dismisses in the Dowd column have done more to define the vision and moral center of today’s Democratic party than all of the message bills pushed by the party leadership combined,” Fallon wrote in a Sunday tweet.

By qualifying the criticism of pelosi as coming from liberal activists, the author of the article is helping pelosi. Or is everybody playing their role? Pelosi needs a small but vocal group to criticize her from the left. AOC and friends understand what they need to keep the house and beat trump. They are the radical left and It makes pelosi and Biden and Harris look moderate and mainstream. It makes Pelosi’s endorsement stronger in a general election because she looks less reactionary and more solid

Could it simply be a case of Pelosi feeling threatened and trying to hold on to her leadership?

If Fuckboy is not eliminated there will be nothing of which to have leadership.

Remember, we do not know whether it's Pelosi's idea that impeachment is a bad idea or whether it's the idea of enough members of the Democratic caucus that impeachment would split said caucus in as ugly a way as possible. She could be covering for members who cannot afford to take that stance publicly themselves. Among other things, it would end their fundraising immediately.

Pelosi drags her feet and lets the pressure build. Meantime, every refused subpoena, every denied document request, adds to the pile of evidence of obstruction. When she thinks the moment is right she'll loose the hounds. It's all politics.

I'd love to see Trump's name show up on the manifest of some of Epstein's pedo planes. That should kick things off with a bang.

Vance tried to get the judge to change Epstein's sex offender status from type 3 to type 1. Judge turned it down and said that he'd never seen that move from a prosecutor regarding a sex trafficking case before.

Here’s the problem with Pelosi’s stance
In 2016, you could say don’t rock the boat to the Sandernistas.
If you don’t get behind Hillary Trump is going to win
They didn't listen then and they won’t now
It doesn’t matter if the Republicans are split
If the Democrats are gonna split it’s going to happen
The party is getting more progressive
Moderate Democrat soon will be as much of an anachronism as moderate Republican
The days when LBJ can sit in a room and trade shots of bourbon with Everett Dirksen and reach a compromise are long gone
Both parties have adopted a my way or the highway position
    BTW I LOVE Rasheda Tlaib

It'll be "John Barron" or "David Dennison."
