When I was on a news desk in California, they hired a young female for night desk. Of course, it cut our vocabulary in half until, a couple of hours into the shift, she sensed something was wrong and said: "Guys, my dad is a truck driver." Our vocabulary increased after that.

 

I like the lights down low when I listen to music.

I can see the glow of the vacuum tubes and dials on the gear.

Seriously? Just thought it was a show featuring restaurants with some quirky motif or dish.

Best food show for adults is Food Paradise. A female restaurant patron says a double entendre at every joint.
