How does this scenario play out?:
DOJ instructs Mueller not to talk.
Congress instructs him to spill what he knows.

Last time I checked, Congress has Constitutional authority. The Constitution doesn't mention the DOJ. Who holds sway? Congress can hold Mueller in contempt and order the Sgt at Arms to arrest him on the spot. What can the DOJ do if he talks?

 

Just think if Mueller announced he would only testify if Trump was present in the chamber:

Mueller is 68 years old. How much more law is he gonna practice anyway?
If he gets disbarred, what does he care?

Not to mention an incoming Democratic President would undoubtedly present him with a pardon the day they took office.

(Although it would probably be a 10-year legal battle in itself to determine if Mueller flipped his lid like this and completely criminally implicated Fuckboy in open congressional testimony, whether it would actually be a crime or not. He'd certainly be disbarred over it and the testimony couldn't be used in trials of Trump.)

 

He has left the DOJ, right? If so, They can’t do dick to stop him.
