Important countries prefer an ambassador whom they know can get access, or at least communication, to the President. In Russia's case obviously, this is unneeded. So's an ambassador for that matter.

Spent much time in Texas?

 

More than a little while ago, I worked for a paper south of Houston. Dow Chemical was the county’s largest employer. The Texas prison system was second. I spend a month taking pictures inside prisons for a project. They still had work farms. The whole experience was other-worldly.

 

Enough. Six first cousins were all born there.

Trump is his own economic advisor and Russian Ambassador. Interestingly, the Russian word for Ambassador and Whore are the same, in this context.
