I think your interpretation is incorrect.

Chapter 5 of the policy: "Effective October 29, 2019, children residing abroad with their U.S. citizen parents who are U.S. government employees or members of the U.S. armed forces stationed abroad are not considered to be residing in the United States for acquisition of citizenship. Similarly, leave taken in the United States while stationed abroad is not considered residing in the United States even if the person is staying in property he or she owns.

Therefore, U.S. citizen parents who are residing outside the United States with children who are not U.S. citizens should apply for U.S. citizenship on behalf of their children under INA 3228, and must complete the process before the child’s 18th birthday.

The child of a member of the U.S. armed forces accompanying his or her parent abroad on official orders may be eligible to complete all aspects of the naturalization proceedings abroad. This includes interviews, filings, oaths, ceremonies, or other proceedings relating to naturalization."

In other words, children of U.S. armed servicemen/women and government employees residing abroad are not automatically granted citizenship, they must apply for it. Additionally, even if the U.S. citizen parents OWN PROPERTY in the U.S. and live there while on leave, they are not considered to have residence for the purposes of giving their children citizenship.

Enough about that, really. It was the biggest story at the time and someone sends them copies of returns. Maybe trump or the exwife, who knows. What were the supposed to do with them?

The tax returns weren’t a big deal.

This one was a big deal. It’d be a big deal if it were true. Maybe it is. But to not know? Good God.

I'm sure plenty of servicemen and women with last names like Martinez and Garcia will have no issues here...

The Nazi rantings of Herr Stephen Miller and the dimwit trump are regulations. It is that law? Or have the trumpsters usurped congressional power acquiesced by the timidity of the senate republicans?

I'm sure the GOP is thrilled to know FATUS has unilaterally changed the symbol of the party from an elephant to a lion.
This goes along with him wanting to change the paint job on Air Force One to something resembling his gaudy hotels.
