I saw similar comments the other day and thought every time I figured people couldn't get any more ignorant, they prove me wrong.
Walmart choosing not to sell a product violates your 2nd Amendment rights?

If Walmart sells Holy Bibles but not other religious texts, I guess that violates the 1st.
Walmart sells the belts my mom used to whip my butt with, so I guess my 8th Amendments were violated.
Walmart doesn't sell cars, so I supposed we could invoked the 9th Amendment.

 

So, to the gun people, one of the reasons to have guns is to be protected from the government (that has a military with nukes). I am now starting to believe, that they believe, the military will be on their side in an uprising in support of a corrupt president.

 

Some of my educated conservative friends actually believe police will stand down when Antifa and other leftists rise up violently to usher in the new socialist order. They point to Portland as the prototype.

 

Wouldn’t be a very good prototype. City officials told the Antifa crowd to stay away from the Trumpist elements the last time, and for the most part, they stayed away.

 

More authoritarianism from the creepy clan.

I have a good friend who is a first generation Mexican American. One of my favorite possessions is a picture of us standing in front of the White House with him wearing a t-shirt that says I Just Look Illegal.

He is sometimes concerned with the way people look at him and the current climate in general. Just this week he brought me a copy of his birth certificate and asked me to keep it in a safe place for him. I told him, "I'll put it in my gun safe, and when ICE gets your ass, I'll come with two ways to make them turn you loose."

It's pretty messed up in 2019 that American citizens are concerned enough that they ask people to hold their papers.
