    That meeting... Like, any moron could see that inviting the Taliban to the United States the week of September 11 is a bad idea. It's just an objectively bad idea. There's no turning it into a good idea. That Trump thought it was a good idea, and then thought it was a good idea to admit that such a thing—that nobody knew about—was on his books, says everything about him.

    Who with any amount of dignity and a reasonable enough looking resume can possibly be left who would take the job of national security advisor? I am thinking that at this point we're down to one of the former cast members of Jersey Shore or Erik Prince (without being vetted first, of course). I think the 100 or so people who would normally be seen as somewhat reasonable picks have already disqualified themselves by signing open letters condemning Trump for various things.
