You're just pissed because I called you out on something, I even forget what, a few days ago.

You're a lot more transparent than you think you are. And repetitive.

That was quite good. Concise, succinct, and accurate.

To be clear, I'm not saying that he doesn't have the right to post what he posted. I genuinely believe it would be a better idea for him to just shut up about it at this point. Posts like his, which claim that we shouldn't bother writing about things because the words we write don't change things, are useless at best. The entire point of this place is to express ourselves on topics we find interesting. Criticizing people for using a message board for its designed purpose is asinine and he made himself look like a self-centered ass. So yes, when he brought up the idea of shutting up, I genuinely thought that was a good idea on his part.

No, I think you're making an ass of yourself and I genuinely believe that the best thing you could do right now is shut up.

You really should stop trying to read my mind. You suck at it. And yes, I've used that line before, but some people like you need the repetition because you can't seem to get the message the first time.

The image isn't loading, at least for me, but given the source, I doubt I'm missing anything of value.

Nothing I write here will do anything to change national politics. I don't write here to attempt to. I enjoy kicking things around with some mostly like minded mostly smart people.

That said, I have seen grassroots small "d" democracy change things if people get pissed enough to get off of their asses and actually do something. I continue to have hope, in the vote if nothing else.

So. Shottie, you've observed that you can't change politics either, and have come to find message board politics a waste of your time. You have decided not to be involved with them any longer.

    Ok.

A decade? Penn State alone was good for a century. That’s not including the ones he deleted.

MLK didn’t just resign himself to give up; neither did Harriet Tubman, nor the Parkland kids; most importantly they inspired others, one at a time.

Giving up and saying “my vote doesn’t count” is exactly how we got in this predicament. I tell wifey almost every day, I don’t blame the Orange Clown, I blame those who voted for him.

If you really don’t support him, you can make a difference, don’t give up.

    WTF are you talking about?
    He's not giving up.

His IRA is up 16% this year. He's fat and happy.
