MSNBC needs to farm out Stephanie Ruhle to financial reporting (her forte) and give someone else the mid-morning and/or afternoon desk.
I don't think anyone would really mind if Chris Matthews went away, either.

 

Smith just needs to spend a few weekends watching his beloved Ole Miss. That will motivate him to get back to work.

 

MSNBC would do well to get him.
From Smith's standpoint, it would be like an All-Star deciding to go play Triple A.

She should have gone from covering the 2000 impeachment to the Today show but she got bounced around a lot, getting exiled to LA for a time
